Hot Cranberry Ginger Cider
Use naturally sweetened cranberry juice or a combine white grape and cranberry juice. Serves 4.
- 2 cups naturally sweetened cranberry juice
- 2 cups apple cider
- 8 quarter-inch slices fresh gingerroot
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
- Orange slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish
Combine cranberry juice, apple cider, ginger root, and orange zest in a medium saucepan. Bring to low boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve warm, garnished with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
Oh So Berry!
- 1 C Orange Juice
- 1/8 C Blueberries
- 1/8 C Strawberries
- 1/8 C Raspberries
- 1 Scoop soy protein powder or 6oz Mori-Nu Tofu
Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Strawberry Soy Smoothie
- 1 cup vanilla flavored soy milk
- 2 cups strawberry yogurt
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
Place strawberries into blender jar and process for about 25 seconds. Add soy milk and yogurt. Continue to process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses.
Southern Spritzer
- 1/2 C Sparkling mineral water
- 1/4 C Pear Juice
- 1 1/2 t Blackstrap Molasses
- 1 Scoop soy protein powder or 6oz MoriNu Silken Tofu
Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Summer Smoothie
- 2 peeled frozen bananas
- 1/2 box of silken tofu
- 1 cup Santa Cruz orange- mango juice or other fruit juice
- more frozen fruit, if desired
Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Makes 2 large smoothies.
