When you shop at our co-op from May 1 - 16, you have the opportunity to round up your grocery bill in support of HarvAid.

HarvAid is an employee assistance fund created to help Open Harvest employees who experience a financial crisis. Funds raised at the register during the first part of May will be deposited into the HarvAid fund and earmarked to support staff who are directly affected during the COVID-19 pandemic.

FT Front End Supervisor

We are accepting applications for a full-time position in our Front End Department.

The Front End Supervisor (FES) is part of the front end team and ensures excellent customer service and operational flow of customer transactions. This person is responsible for modeling and providing excellent customer service, prompt and accurate cash handling, keeping store and money secure, completing basic store keeping tasks, stocking customer service items, and training and supervising cashiers. The ideal candidate must have supervisory experience, the ability to multi-task, strong communication skills, and a high level of attention to detail. This position requires night and weekend availability and the ability to stand for long periods of time.

This is a full-time (35 hours per week) position and requires a flexible schedule that includes morning, evening, and weekend availability. We offer vacation/sick, holiday pay, 15% staff discount, and other benefits and perks!

PT Cashier

We are accepting applications for a part-time cashier in our Front End Department.

Our cashiers are responsible for the grand finale of customer service at Open Harvest. Duties include accurate cash handling, customer service, and stocking. Our ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, and have a proven track record of excellent customer service. FT Lead Produce Clerk

Our Produce Department is in search of a dependable, outgoing, and hard-working individual to join our team.

The Lead Produce Clerk ensures that displays are abundant and attractive, offers excellent customer service to our shoppers and Member-Owners. You’ll oversee day-to-day flow of the department in the absence of the Manager. The Lead Clerk is also responsible for receiving duties and ensures quality produce upon arrival.

The ideal candidate will have produce experience, excellent customer service skills, knowledge of organic produce and natural foods, the ability to work independently, great communication skills, demonstrated leadership qualities, creativity and eye for displays, and the ability to multi-task.

This is a full time (35-40 hours per week) position and requires a flexible schedule that includes mornings, evening and weekends. We offer health benefits, paid vacation and a 15% staff discount at the store.

FT Wellness Coordinator

We are accepting applications for a full-time position in our Wellness Department.

The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the wellness department, where tasks include ordering, stocking, merchandising, promotion planning, and providing excellent customer service. Ability to meet sales goals, manage profit margin, and manage inventory levels is required.

The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge and passion for supplements and body care products, proven excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, solid communication skills, creativity and eye for displays, and the ability to multi-task.

This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits. We offer health, vision, and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick time.

Board Administrative Assistant

Our Administration Department is in search of a dependable and hard-working individual to join our team.
The Board Administrator is supervised by the General Manager and works directly with the Board Chair in providing administrative and clerical support to the Open Harvest Board of Directors. Attendance and taking minutes at all monthly board meetings is required. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 8:30 pm.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to effectively listen, analyze, and summarize information, and multi-task in order to record minutes and document other important information. Ability and commitment to maintain confidentiality in all matters.

This is a part-time position, averaging 5-7 hours per month, with the work taking place out of the store.
