When you shop at our co-op from May 1 - 16, you have the opportunity to round up your grocery bill in support of HarvAid.

HarvAid is an employee assistance fund created to help Open Harvest employees who experience a financial crisis. Funds raised at the register during the first part of May will be deposited into the HarvAid fund and earmarked to support staff who are directly affected during the COVID-19 pandemic.

FT Assistant Food Service Manager

Our Food Service Department is in search of a dependable, outgoing, and hard-working individual to join our team.

Our Assistant Food Service Manager is integral in planning promotions, developing recipes, and acting as a critical line of communication between management and kitchen staff, working to address day-to-day personnel issues. As the Assistant Food Service Manager, you’ll work with a variety of diverse suppliers ranging from local small scale farmers to large national distributors to source ingredients, packaging and equipment for the department. You’ll work side by side with other food service staff to coordinate daily production of prepared foods and regularly assist in their production.

Our ideal candidate will have experience purchasing in a restaurant or retail setting, have extensive experience in commercial kitchens, and staff supervision. Our Assistant Food Service Manager must be highly organized, comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets, and an excellent communicator

PT Food Service Clerk

Our Food Service Department is in search of a dependable, outgoing, and hard-working individual to join our team.

Our food service clerk is part of the Food Service Department, where main responsibilities include customer service, stocking, preparing made-to-order burritos, portioning food items per request, dishwashing, and uphold food safety standards in all food service areas. The ideal candidate must have food service experience. Applicants must have proven excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, to follow directions, and demonstrate solid communication skills. A current prep cook food handler’s permit is required.

FT Wellness Coordinator

We are accepting applications for a full-time position in our Wellness Department.

The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the wellness department, where tasks include ordering, stocking, merchandising, promotion planning, and providing excellent customer service. Ability to meet sales goals, manage profit margin, and manage inventory levels is required.

The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge and passion for supplements and body care products, proven excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, solid communication skills, creativity and eye for displays, and the ability to multi-task.

This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits. We offer health, vision, and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick time.

PT Produce Clerk

Our Produce Department is in search of a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team.
A Produce Clerk keeps our produce display fully stocked and tidy at all times. Additional responsibilities include customer service, stocking, culling, receiving, and cashiering.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of organic produce and natural foods, excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency, solid communication skills, demonstrated leadership qualities, creativity and eye for displays, and willing to bring a positive attitude every day.

This is a part-time (15-22 hours per week) position and requires a flexible schedule that includes morning, evening, and weekend availability.

PT Center Store Clerk

Our Center Store Department is in search of a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team.

Our center store clerk is part of the Center Store Department, where main responsibilities include customer service, stocking, cashiering, unloading trucks, cleaning and store conditioning.

The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills, knowledge of organic and naturals foods, the ability to work independently, great communication skills, ability to follow direction, and a sense of urgency.

This part-time (10-20 hours per week) requires a flexible schedule that includes morning, evening, and weekend availability.
