Operational & Store Safety Updates: March 18th
Open Harvest Co-op Grocery is committed to keeping our doors open and our shelves stocked so you can continue to pick up any of the items you need in the coming weeks. The safety of our shoppers and staff remains a top priority, and we will be following all local, state, and federal recommendations during this time. Please understand as the COVID-19 pandemic changes and we are having to make decisions very quickly and so information shared today is subject to change.
Here are some important changes that go into effect immediately and until further notice:
- Starting Thursday, March 19th store hours will be from 10 am to 8 pm – this will give staff time to practice social distancing as they stock and sanitize the store.
- Customers ages 60+ and those with immunocompromised health will be allowed early entry from 9 am – 10 am daily
- We will no longer accepting special orders, holding product, or accepting returns
For those who need to come into our store, please consider shopping during non-peak hours — early mornings and late evenings. Our staff is practicing social distancing, so please keep your distance as much as possible and avoid socializing and congregating. Additionally, while many of us might prefer making multiple small shopping trips throughout the week, during the COVID-19 outbreak, making fewer, larger trips is preferable and reduces everyone’s exposure.
We love being a gathering space for our community, but we must strive to keep everyone healthy!
In cooperation,
Amy Tabor
General Manager
